(VTS) Valet Tracking System

netPark’s VTS can track service levels, retrieval times and patient assists!  By installing bar-code scanners at strategic work-flow points, we can track critical service level and employee activity data.  The VTS can be deployed in two primary set-ups; 1-Scan or 2-Scan:

VTS-1 Scan Set-Up

The VTS-1 Scan is used when you have one scanning point.  This set-up is deployed when the point-of-sale and keys are located in the same place.  The 1-Scan system involves 4 separate bar-code scans and a point-of-sale as depicted in the diagrams below.  The 4 scans are used to measure service levels, retrieval times and optional patient assists for hospital operations.

VTS-2 Scan Set-Up

The VTS-2 Scan is when you have 2 separate scanning points.  This set-up is deployed when the point-of-sale, keys (Key Room), and customer entry are located in different places.  Similar to the 1-scan, the 2-Scan system involves 4 separate bar-code scans and a point-of-sale.  However, the 4 scans are performed at 2 different scanners with each scanner handling 2 scans.  The point-of-sale also comes into play for the 2-scan in that it serves as the alert system for the key room when the customer has paid and needs their car brought up.  The 4 scans are used to measure service levels, retrieval times and optional patient assists for hospital operations.  The 2-scan process is depicted in the diagrams below:
